“I inherited a big old metal-covered travel trunk from my mom. In the top was a drawer, filled with some of her mother’s treasures. Lifting it out, I realized all the joints and connections had disintegrated and it was falling apart. After removing the great old stuff to safety, I took the drawer apart, laid the various pieces on the floor, and this tree trunk appeared—I just had to add some color.” –Philip Carey
