Philip was a lifelong collector of "weird & ugly" ties, but he also loved the clean lines & colors of San Francisco's B.J. Ernst, and amassed a large collection ranging from the 1950s to 70s. In 2015 he constructed this wall installation to show off his collection in his Morro Bay cottage.
